Facelift (2)

We recommend laser treatment, mesotherapy chemical peels and fat grafting for early age related changes. Fillers and botox can also be used also when required. Facelift is needed when there are more visible age related changes and the skin has become saggy.

Aging causes the skin to lose its elasticity and the subcutaneous fat to diminish. Loss of muscle tone and changes in the bone structure is also part of the aging process. During facelift the excess skin is removed and underlying displaced structures lifted back to their normal shape.

Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw are surgicallyrestored during lower facelift procedure. Small incisions are done in to the hair line and close to the ears. A small incision might also be done under the chin. This procedure can be done under local or general anesthesia. It normally requires an overnight stay at the hospital. Swelling and bruising will normally ease off after 3 weeks.
